The big oil companies are having a pity party. They have all that money - ExxonMobil has about $33 billion in cash, and nowhere to spend it. Poor babies.
They are also complaining that they can't find the personnel they need to man new projects - in the northern seas or elsewhere.
Uh, Russia's Gubkin Institute of Oil & Gas has an enrollment of 8,000 students and is growing by about 1,500 students each year.
China also does not seem to have a scarcity of students wanting to study in this field.
Only the Brits and the US are hurting for such students, it seems.
Need a job? Wouldn't you love to respond to the question: "What do you do?"
with..."I am in oil."
What do you think?
