Fopros must set aside about 40% of their earnings before paying taxes to pay taxes.
If one of the big fopro players generates, let's say $100 million in revenue for the year and $40 million is eaten up in taxes...where does that tax money go?
Is there some system that says that tax money paid by fopros cannot by any means make it to the non-profit coffers? Last time I checked, all the taxes were thrown into some big IRS hat and then nobody knew what happened after that.
So, if the fopros are putting so much into the tax coffers, what are the non-profits griping about?
Of course, whereas non-profits try to get as much subisidies as possible and then use as much of it as they can in hopes of getting more, the fopros do their darndest to NOT waste, in hopes of paying less.
This is a fundamental difference. One tries to use money and get more, the other tries to save money and pay less.
