Many people can get their tuition paid for by their employer. I did. Or, I should say
I am having my employer pay for it.
Suppose you did make up your mind to go back to school - fopro or otherwise. How might you get your tuition paid for?
Here is tip #4 -
4. Timing ...timing...timing...
If your company is in a financial pinch...uh...don't ask.
Is business good? Ask.
Is it the beginning of the fiscal year? Don't ask...unless there is a budget for it.
Is it the end of the fiscal year and money is left over? Ask...ask...ask.
Have you taken a class on your own that helped you do your job better? Blow your own horn. Tell someone. Start your sentences off with "I learned...." End them with, "Now I can do..."
If your employer sees that you are serious about learning and that it makes a difference
to his/her bottom line, chances are you will get the tuition reimbursement request
approved.
Try it. What do you have to lose?
What other excuse might you have now for not going back to school?
