Well, sometimes the best way to get more money is with less people asking for it.
Non-profits seem to always have their hands out. It kind of reminds me of the guy standing at the corner of the exit off the local highway.
LeMoyne-Owen College was offered a gve of $2.5 million if and only if their board members quit.
Seems somebody was pretty darn fed up with how the school was being run or not being run as the case may be.
Out of the 30 trustees of the college, 27 went for the door.
The school has been hard up for cash and thus was pressed to accept the gifts and the conditions.
So, who is giving the money? And does s/he know something about how the school is operating? Does s/he have the right to run the college or choose who runs it, in affect taking charge?
Why does a school let itself get in such financial straits?
Is this the only school that has let this happen to itself?
More questions than answers....
What do you think?

thats sad and scary, the person who gives more money has control over a school that doesnt know whats going on....makes me think about my school....who knows??
