Robert Potts, Chancellor of higher education in North Dakota will leave his position next month.
His reason: The board won't let him have clear authority over the campus presidents - he says.
Potts has accused the North Dakota State University president of undermining his authority.
In other words, if Potts can't get the prezzes to listen, he'll quit. And quit he did.
It sounds to me a whole lot like office politics...big corporate politics...company bickering and squabbling.
Does it go on in schools, too? You betcha.
Are fopros vulnerable to this sort of thing? You're darn right.
What about non-profit universities? Ask Robert Potts.
