What good is it to know something if you do not know what to do with it?
Fopros also offer general education courses, but they are primarily interested in the application of what is learned.
Fopros provide lessons in skill development that give the students practical experience. Often times students complete their programs with a portfolio in hand of what they can do.
The general education classes complement the emphasis on practical application learning. A writing class will be devoted to resume writing and interview reporting. A speech class will teach how to demonstrate something they made in a portfolio or how to persuade an employer to higher them.
Fopros also process knowledge, but only that knowledge that the instructor sees as relevant to helping the student get a job.
Relevance...practical....and knowledgeable are the goals of fopros.
What do you think about that?
