
Delaware and Rhode Island do not have fopros among their college listings. Could be they don't have enough land space.
Montana is the third state that does not have a fopro. It could be that Montana doesn't have enough people to go to school.
Like it or not, fopros are gradually being accepted as part of the mainstream.
With their emphasis on outcomes and meeting the bottom line, fopros have gained a good reputation.
The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (whew, how'd you like to say that every time someone asks you where you work?) says fopros have an ability to act quickly and make changes. This has become a trademark of these schools and something the traditional schools cannot emulate.
Fopros also push for standardization of curriculum so that what is taught in Atlanta is taught in San Jose...of course, without stifling faculty innovation and creativity.
At any rate...Fopros seem to be here to stay, for better or worse, in sickness and in health and....
