According to the Latin American Studies Association, policies of the Bush administration make it too difficult for Cuban scholars to come to the States to study.
Of course, there are no Cuban policies that make it difficult.
Consequently, the LASA moved their meeting from Boston to Montreal to protest.
Bush responded by listening and responding to daily briefings on the situation in Iraq and other goings on.
Point being...politics gets in the way of education, too.
It is not as simple as being smart enough, having enough money to attend, being accepted and going to school.
Governments get in the way of kids, students, scholars who might be the ones to teach the governments how to get along in the first place.
Isn't there a way for students to get the best education at the place most suitable for them without people who don't know them interfering?
What do you think?

What does Bush know about education? He has no idea about it.
