The US is not the only place where the cost of education is out of reach, even for children of middle class parents.
Four students at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia have created a website Pay My Degree in hopes of getting businesses and other folks with money left over to contribute to their education.
The four all have summer jobs, as well as part-time jobs during the school year....but they can't make ends meet.
I don't how much it cost relatively when I was in school a hundred years ago. But, I worked part-time going through school and full-time in the summer and I was ABLE to pay my tuition.
Maybe these four kids need a lesson in money management. No?
I have a kid in college. It is too expensive. My wife and I both work and we don't qualify for a loan, grant, hand out or anything else.
But...begging online in the name of corporate gifts and tax right offs? Is that the solution.
Schools need to wake up. Government student loan entities need to reconsider who is getting the money and how much of it.
And kids, need to buckle down and work harder, too.
What do you think?

The cost of education continues to rise , but the benefits of education are going down in some cases.
