EVCI Career College Holding Company is owner of the Interboro Institute, a college that specializes in getting students in college even though the students do NOT have a high school diploma.
So, how does a student get into college without a high school diploma?
They show a need to benefit from higher education.
Interboro is one institute that tries to meet the needs of such students.
NY state officials say the college seems more interested in enrolling students than in making sure they succeed in college.
Question: Who's job is it to see that students get enrolled?
Answer: The enrollment counselors.
Question: Who's job is it to help the students succeed in college?
Answer: The faculty and support services of the school.
Isn't it the job of enrollment counselors to get students in the door? I think so.
If a student isn't in school in the first place, what chance is there that they will succeed?
None. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
However, Interboro has also been accused of misrepresenting its finances and prospects.
Now, then, if that is so, I am sure there investors and other stakeholders will be equally anxious to see the give a proper accounting.
