A report by eLearners states that within one month fopros will follow up on 91% of leads expressed by prospective online students.
For traditional universities the follow-up is around 50%.
The traditional universities cry 'foul!' And complain that fopros do too much to get students in the door.
I say, "What's wrong with that?"
Isn't that the purpose of a school? To get students in the door? And then teach them?
You can't teach a student if they are not in the classroom.
And we wonder, why traditional universities can't make budget.
Fopros also spend more money online recruiting students than the traditional universities do. It makes sense to follow up on money invested in recruiting students. No?
What's wrong with fopros doing the best they can to get the most students they can in the door, so that they can be taught?
What do you think?

It's great that fropro's recruit students. I attend one and I know many people wouldn't be here if it wern't for the schools aggressive tactics after your first call to inquire.
I even forced someone to enroll here, because it's as simple as coming in, signing up then learning.
:o)
