Covering the business of education and training

I wrote about a new word - pracademic.  Here is a word I'd like to add to the English language - COFFICE.

It is a combination of Coffee and Office...It is also where I spend my afternoons, many of them anyway, working/writing/grading papers and such.

There is a Coffee house not far from my house - Orchard Valley Coffee. They offer Wifi and music that is too loud sometimes - I bring my ear plus or put on my headphones.

Not a few people come here regularly with their laptops to work. After all, I live in heart of Silicon Valley.

This is not a new phenomenon, but it is sure to become more popular.

As telecommuting becomes not only a reasonable but a preferred option, I expect to see more and more people in the COFFICE here.

$3-5 a day for a cup of coffee or a strawberry smoothie is 'cheap rent.'

There are also newspapers everywhere - blog material!
