Some key points the finding makes:
1. Faculty political ideology is overwhelmingly liberal![]()
2. Faculty are NOT representative of the American Public
3. Faculty are ideologially critical of America and Business, supportive of international institutions
4. Faculty Political Culture is self-perpetuating
5. Social Science and Humanities Faculty comprise the liberal core of higher education
6. Business Faculty are the most conservative and politically diverse
7. Dominant faculty culture can lead to self-censorship
Am I wrong or does it seem to you that the faculty in American colleges live in their own little world? What's it called? Ivory towers? Out of touch with the real world?
