Princeton Review is a fun book that stirs up feelings in the colleges that it ranks - either at the top or at the bottom. I know, readers have already come after me and all I did was put the rankings here.
I reckon it is numbers 2-10 that get the most excited. They either want to be on the top or all the way on the bottom. What do you think?
Here are the Bottom Ten Colleges that know how to keep their students unhappy as chosen by the students who attend them.
10. Hofstra U.
9. Fisk U. - and the school not running very smoothly cements the experience
8. Illinois Institute of Technology - see the rankings for schools that run badly
6. University of Hawaii at Manoa - see # 8 & 9
5. Clarkson U.
2. New Jersey Institute of Technology
So, if they are so unhappy, why do they keep coming?
Spending a year as a plebe (1st year student) in lockdown (jail) most of the time, doing the janitorial work has a lot to do with it. It is a love/hate thing. Hate doing it, but love the results - character.
Character comes from enduring hard times....hmmm.
What do you think?

bottom line, us merchant marine academy is the best college to "be from". the hard work plebe year is trumped twenty times over by the benefits of the world-wide travel and work experience recieved by all cadets while in college, the free education, and guaranteed employement with a salary of over 75,000 your first year out. Id say that a few years of hard work our worth a lifetime of benefits.
