The College Board just published its Trends in Higher Education Series. Here are a few highlights about college prices.

In 2005 full-time workers between the ages of 25-34 with a bachelor's degree made $13,900 more than same-aged high school grads working full-time.

Workers 45-54 with a bachelor's degree were making $22,900 more than same-aged high school grads.

The more college grads that are in a workplace, the more money all workers there are likely to make.

Parents with bachelor's degrees save at a higher percentage for their own kid's education.

Parents with bachelor's degrees have more intelligent/current conversations with their kids.

50% of white females btw 16-24 are enrolled in college.

45% of black females in the same age bracket are enrolled.

40% of Hispanic females are enrolled.

Bottom line - if making more money is your goal in life...get an education and get it when you are young.
