The president of Xiamen University in Fujian Province of southeast China will require some of the school's students to learn golf from next year.
Students in the:
1. business administration
2. law
3. economics
4. computer technology
departments will be required to take the course.
Beauty will arouse confidence says the president. And, nothing is more beautiful than a golf course....unless you can't find your ball.
Many of Xiamen University's teachers were sent to visit six campuses in the U.S to pick up ideas on to make Xiamen's campus top notch.
Stanford has a golf course, as does University of Texas. I am sure other campuses do as well, but I have been to these two.
So, I wonder if Golf 102 will be negotiating while waiting for a partner to putt....Golf 103 Coming to an Agreement in Law Cases...Golf 104....
A waste of space or a necessary addition to the campus?
