I remember when I first went to Asia many years ago.  The last thing my sister said to me was "Don't bring back any half-yellow babies."

That was, perhaps is, the typical MidWestern approach to peoples from the rest of the world.

However, some college students are learning now how to get along with people of other races.

These student bodies voted themselves the most interactive with other races.

Students are not pretentious - don't care what you drive, or wear or don't wear, whether you are on or not on financial aid. Everybody is accepted for who they are.

Sounds to me like a fun, easy place to fit into.
