Here are some of the results from the poll.
1. Nearly one-third of students (32%) 18-24 say they will definitely be voting. The previous record was 26% in 1982. The average for the last four elections was 21%.
2. President Bush has been given a C- on seven key issues.
3. A majority of the likely voters plan to vote Democrat.
4. 60% of young people think the country is on the wrong track.
5. 46% of young people favor a total troop withdrawal from Iraq
6. 74% of young people feel politics is too partisan
7. 78% of young people think elected officials are motivated by selfish reasons.
8. 75% of young people think elected officials are out of touch with them.
9. 70-80% of young people believe politics is relevant to their lives.
10. 55% of young people trust the US military to do the right thing
11. 50% trust the Supreme court
12. 38% trust the United Nations
13. Just 12% trust the media!!!
