The university counters - they only wasted, er, spent $380,000 on the gate.
There are 27 gates on the ground level and an exhibition hall for the universities 32-year history on the second floor.
Internet users and students are righfully asking "How many books could be purchased, how many good teachers hired, how many poor students could be taught, how much technology could be updated....with these wasted funds?"
What I want to know is why didn't anybody ask this question 27 gates ago?
I mean, weren't there plans, and approvals and ground laying and such?
Absolutely, its a waste of money.
But, why did people figure that out AFTER it was built?
There is plenty of fault to go around here.
What do you think?
