The report addresses several key questions:
First question: Has the Growth of Online Enrollments Begun to Plateau?
Answer: Online enrollments (such as those for an online masters degree) are growing faster than student body populations.
Evidence: 3.2 million students took at least one class in the 2005 fall term compared to 2.3 million the previous year.
The 800K+ growth is more than twice the number added the previous year.
E-learning has far from plateaued.
I think the 120 some students I am currently teaching might be considered additional evidence.
How about you? Have you taken an online class recently - say, to get a masters degree online or an online nursing degree? Are you planning to? I have.
