The report addresses several key questions:
Second Question: Who is studying online?
Answer: Generally the online student (for example, your average online nursing degree student) is older, holds employment and family responsibilities.
Evidence: Online population is close match to general higher ed student bodies but, most online students are undergrad students but there is a greater proportion of students gunning for graduate degrees online than in the general student body population.
The undergrad students are focusing primarily on an Associcates degree. So, it seem that students are either going for an Associates or a Masters.
My 120 students are going for their associates degree. Last year, I finished my second Masters degree...online.
Seems reasonable to me.
