Now, The Crimson has its own plagiarizers to deal with.
One cartoonist was found guilty of copying a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist who published something less than two weeks earlier.
Another columnist was found to have plagiarized parts of a column from an online magazine.
This makes me wonder.
Are there any original ideas any more? I hope I get blasted with a bunch of them here.
But, some how, hasn't someone thought of something and wrote about it somewhere before?
Solomon's words come to mind - "there is nothing new under the sun."
Oh, I believe there is plagiarism...and it's wrong. But, are people who forget to give credit plagiarizers or forgetful?
Are there original ideas to be found, penned or drawn?
What do you think?
