
His colleagues, all of them, call him pseudo-academic. However, one person, the dean of the arts and sciences calls him a 'bonafide scientist' who 'provides a form of open discussion and dissenting viewpoints' which is what 'academia is all about.'
The researcher is funded with a $30,000 donation from a Bigfoot believer...so, it costs the school nothing, save a bit of emabarrassment.
Ape-man. Nope. There is no ape-man. Never was, never will be.
The researcher hopes some day to bring back a tooth or a bone and build an ape man around it to silence his critics.
That might happen...that is. he might find a bone and create the rest of the creature.
There is no ape-man. There is no Loch Ness Monster. There is no tooth fairy, either.
The guy needs to get a life doing worthwhile research and leave the fantasy searching to kids and their imaginations.
Time to grow up.
