
The NCAA will host a scholarly conference on the overall value of sport in higher education.
One hundred years into the program and now the NCAA wants to ask "Is it worth it?"

3. Financial impact on universities, college and pro sports...
4. University reputation, school recruitment, community life...
5. Establishing healthy life style, drug use - legal and illegal
6. Sports management and marketing programs
7. Areas for future research consideration
I think it is a great idea, a little bit late in coming, but nevertheless a forum where many issues in sports and its relation to academics can be addressed.
