A Boston University student group is offering a scholarship for students who are at least one-fourth white. Any one quadrant of their anatomy is okay.

Applicants must write two essays - one describing their ancestry, and one describing what it means to be a Caucasian-American.

The award is $250...enought cover a Sociology textbook.

"To give out scholarships based on economic need is one thing but to base it on race and race alone when they're coming from the same places where the white folks are, I don't think that provides any diversity at all," said one BU member.

I reckon, I have to agree with the logic.  

Why should anyone be entitled to money just because of the race they were born into?
