That young adults are most concerned about education and how much it costs is no surprise. What is surprising is how so few of them are concerned about it.

Lake Research Partners did a survey leading up to the election.

Young adults were asked:

I am going to read you a list of concerns that some people have. Please tell me which one of these you would most like Congress to something about?

Here are the top ten concerns:

10. Moral Values - 4%

 9. Government Corruption - 7%

 8. Health Care - 7%

 7. Social Security - 7%

 6. Gas Prices - 8% - Gas prices were number one in April at 19%

 5. Terrorism - 9%

 4. Immigration - 9%

 3. Iraq - 11%

 2. Jobs and the economy - 13% (seniors getting ready to graduate, perhaps?)

 1. Education and the cost of college - 17% (My bet is that these 17% are the ones who are paying for their own education. The other 83% have mom and pop footing the bill)
