Some college towns actually get along with their student bodies and welcome them to spend money and otherwise, well maybe not the otherwise.
Princeton Review discovered from their 115,000 student survey that these schools get along with their towns quite well, thank you.
The top ten student bodies with good town relations:
10. Stephens College
9. Eugene Lang College
8. Wheaton College (IL)
7. University of Tulsa
6. Davidson College
5. Ripon College
4. Franklin W. Olin College
3. William Jewell College
2. Texas A & M university
1. Saint Olaf College - Northfield, MN.
Students say about Olaf "Campus life is centerd on campus, not in the town of Northfield because, while Northfield is an extremely nice town, we just don't get off campus much. Being on a hill creates what we call the St. Olaf Bubble - it's not the real world.
And that's why they get along with the town so well - the towns people call them the little saints who STAY up on the hill.
