
Their chancellor wants to turn them into a Virtual Language Institute.
According to the Florida prosperity website...150,000 students in American are studying French....and still can't speak it.
However only 16,500 are studying Chinese.
What about Arabic?
Is there a future in this country for students who can speak either of these languages?
Florida thinks so.
Florida also hopes this will drum up business for the state if more and more people come to study those languages.
Good business for the colleges and good sense for the students.
