Washington State University will match that offer of their cross-state rival.
What a deal for Washington students. There is no reason why a student in a lower-income situation cannot go on to get a college degree.
Better yet, the rivalry of these two schools is to be commended and there is hope that schools in 49 other states would follow suit.
This single program alone could make a huge difference in our country if/were many other state universities to do the same.
Great job, Washington State and U of Washington!
