Where was this resource when my kids were born...20+ years ago?
Where was the Internet for that matter?
I have one kid who is a junior in college and saving his old man money on a full athletic scholarship.![]()
I have another kid who wants to go to college and has no money.
Until now, the only thing I knew anything about was the FAFSA and that I had an ice cubes chance on a summer day in Phoenix of getting a loan.
Scholarships Around The US provides a wealth of resources, and links (I found at least one that was broken) that can be invaluable to parents - especially one like me.
My kids are American citizens, but grew up overseas. We came back here (US) for them to do their higher education and I didn't have a clue where to start.
Too late for me, however, but parents with little ones, those in high school or even those with kids who have started college can find Student Loans at this site...and more.
One thing that particularly caught my eye was the scholarships that Scholarships Around the US offer.
There are about a half dozen scholarships that they offer but one is a $5,000 scholarship for a student who maintains a blog!
