Good or bad times, there is always people wanting to go to school or send someone to school.
Here are seven reasons you might want to set up shop teaching something to someone somewhere outside of the U.S.
1. The global education market was valued at about $2.5 trillion ( a "T") in 2005. There is a lot of money to go around.
2. There is a global demand for American degrees...even or perhaps especially degrees from for-profit universities = University of Phoenix = vocational education.
3. It is more difficult for students to come to the U.S. post-911.
4. Technology can reach almost anywhere...anywhere.
5. International trade/business has become much more liberal.
6. English is still the choice of languages in the World...but Chinese is catching up.
7. Global education market is growing
If you have/know something that you think others would like to learn, there has never been a better time to teach it ...anywhere.
What do you think?
