What I learned today were a few more important numbers...the graduation rates of the students in the games.
Notre Dame will graduate 95% of its football players - 90% of its African American football players. Compare that to a 98% overall student-athlete graduation. I thought Wake Forest was tops till I came across Notre Dame's facts.
LSU will graduate 49% of it football players and 37% of its black players compared to a 68% overall graduation rate.
So, what's wrong with football players...Notre Dame not included (they are dudes!)?
Nothing perhaps, as long as they can bring home umpteen million dollars.
What do you think?

LSU has had enormous success over the years (A BSC not SC National championship.) One reason many LSU players do not graduate is that they have elected to enter the NFL early at an average salary of over $500,000 per year. LSU has had over 70 players leave early! Maybe it might be better to give an associate degree in sports success and to say they have a degree...who knows?
