Covering the business of education and training

An Atlanta schoolboard responded to a group of parents who thought evolution was being taught at the exclusion of other theories by putting stickers on textbooks saying "Evolution is a theory, not a fact."

Well, lo and behold, another group of parents thought it wasn't right to have another opinion on the matter and they decided to sue to remove the stickers.

Well, the kids lost. They don't get to hear a balanced approach...just the foolish evolution theory approach...its a theory.  A theory is NOT fact. That's why it is called a theory.

Anyway...the school board decided it would cost too much money in legal fees to keep fighting. The lawyers won that one and the kids lost AGAIN.

Why can't educational things be argued in an educational setting without the lawyers getting involved?

why can't kids get to hear the different theories of how people came to be?

Shame on this Atlanta school board, the lawyers and parents who won't let their kids learn and make their own decisions.
