The University of Central Florida issued a Racial and Gender Report Card:
Here are some of the selected highlights:
The NCAA, instead of hiring someone to fit the bill, created a new position of VP for Diversity and Inclusion.
So, instead of giving a women or minority a job that existed, the NCAA decided to shell out more money and create a job.
The NCAA now has three African-American VPs and three women VPs. ![]()
Representation for minorities has increased by 6.3% and for women by 6.2%. Overall numbers were not given. However, it is easy to note that the fewer people you start with the easier it is to see an increase in the percentages, no?
At the administrator level...representation of minorities and women increased by 0.2% and 0.9 percent respectively.
What grade do you give them?
The complete report.
