About 85% of Americans view cheap labor as more of a threat to American competitiveness than the development of a more skilled workforce.
So, instead of training to do things better, Americans would rather blame losing their edge on people who can do it cheaper.
Only one-third of Americans believe that math and science courses are 'very relevant' to life after kids graduate.![]()
Barely one half (54%) think American students should have to take math or science classes at all!!
And Americans are wondering why Asian countries can do things better than they can, why Asians come to the US and excel in school, take seats at universities and make the big bucks at the high tech firms.
