Ohio State will play Florida in the BCS National Championsship Game. Each team will take home between $14-17 million..that will make no difference to the average student's tuition costs.

What I learned today were a few more important numbers...the graduation rates of the students in the games.

Ohio State will graduate 55% of its football players - 32% of its African American football players. Compare that to a 80% overall student-athlete graduation.

Florida will graduate 80% of it football players and 74% of its black players compared to a 92% overall graduation rate.

So, what's wrong with football players?

Nothing perhaps, as long as they can bring home umpteen million dollars.
