Covering the business of education and training

There once was a wise schoolteacher who always sent a note home to the parents of the students on the first day of school:

"If you promise not to believe everything your child says happens at school, I'll promise not to believe everything he says happens at home."

Hmmm...this was meant to be a joke...but somehow, it does seem to me to be good advice. Maybe I will try it next school year.
