Covering the business of education and training

Recently a government official while addressing the convocation of an Information Technology Institute laid out a seven point agenda to get the maximum benefit from the education system.

The seven points:

1. Promotion of extra-curricular activities (healthy ones, I presume)

2. Skill development

3. Better mastery of English

4. Adoption of new information technologies

5. Adoption of new communication technologies

6. Removal of gender disparities

7. Greater role of teachers

The government leader was the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

But the 7 points could/should be applied anywhere in the world....no?
