This is a simple story about a kid who grew up in Japan and is now on a full swim scholarship at a Division I school in Dayton, OH.
The story is filled with inaccuracies - the kid was not a military kid. He was born after his father left the military.
His mother is not an English teacher...she's a tutor. His father is an English teacher.![]()
The boy did not have to go to America by himself because his father was in the military. His father was in America waiting for him to join him.
He did not move to Houston with his swimming coach...he went with his father and together they found a swimming coach...and so on.
It is not a big thing...which makes it all the more scary. If someone cannot get the little things right, how can they be trusted with big things?
Or as Jesus put it, "Those who are faithful with a little will be entrusted with much."
I know this boy...he's my son.
What do you think?
