These Public comprehensive colleges have the lowest acceptance rates in the country.

7. Berea College (KY) - 27%
7. Calumet College of St. Joseph (IL) 27%
4. Flagler College (FL) - 25%
4. Mississippi Valley State University - 25%
4. Texas College - 25%
3. Stillman College (AL) - 23%
1. College of the Ozarks - 11%
1. Brigham Young University (HI) - 11%
So, how public should a public school be? In California, if the student meets the admission criteria, they MUST be allowed in.
