First of all, I want to know why did the 40-year old woman take a steak knife to her GED class?
Did she think that maybe she might get frustrated? Did she think she might need the utensil to get her teacher's attention?
Or, was she going to cook a steak during the break?
The student fired question after question and the teacher did her best to answer them. But, the student got more and more frustrated and finally went after the teacher's back left shoulderblade with a kitchen knife.
Malcom X College in Chicago is someplace I do NOT want to apply for a job.
I suppose I should be even more thankful my classes are conducted online.
The worst that could happen is I get spammed.
The 51-year old teacher is doing fine having been stitched and a replacement found.
Police were investigating to see if the woman with an 15+ year 'extensive' history of misdemeanor arrests, including domestic battery and assault, has any mental problems.
Well...of course, she does. And please keep her tied to her seat if she shows up in my classroom.
