Yup...parents of Gen Y kids have taught their kids to love themselves and now America has to deal with it.
What's a kid in love with him/herself act like?
1. Little/less interest in emotionally intimate bonds
2. Inflated sense of self
3. Lash out when rejected or insulted
4. Feel if they ruled the world, it would be a better place.
5. Want to be the center of attention.
6. Think they are a special person.
7. Obsessed with MySpace...it's MYSPACE, dammit.
8. Regular appearances on Youtube...and sulky if nobody watches
9. Interested in community work, only because it makes them feel good, not for the benefit of those they serve.
10. Materialistic
11. Raised by permissive parents
12. Fascinated with celebrities
13. Obssessed with reality TV shows
14. Overly heightened self-regard
15. Disregard for those studying around them...their own loud conversation is much more important
16. Can't pass up the opportunity to primp when they see a reflecting window, surface
17. Not interested in what others think unless it's what they think about them...and it's something good.
18. Expect good grades just for paying and showing up... and dessert, too!
