How can you tell.
Here are seven signs that the man/woman up front should be paid minimum wage and given access to the refrigerator.
1. Their lessons do not reflect standards and guidelines.
2. They don’t see themselves as part Of The solution to a child's unknowing.
3. They don’t understand how, or don’t care about the fact that they can help children become lifelong learners.
4. They grade students either randomly or according to how well they like them.
5. They don’t see the need to change things; they’ve got a pretty good gig and would love to keep it.
6. They often get their kudos from coaching, singing, directing or something else with students, and teaching is what they do in order to get access to what they really want to do.
7. They don’t understand the importance of their teaching responsibilities, and the potential impact they have on their students’ lifelong health and well-being.
Is your teacher really a teacher or just a babysitter?
How about you? Which are you?
