A Spanish teacher at a Community College in Virginia got an $11,000 grant to lend iPods to all of her students so they can practice Spanish conversation anywhere and everywhere.
Still, more than 85% of students use their MP3 players to listen to music, 10% to watch video...but the other 5% are doing something else.
More than half of all teens own an MP3 player and educational material providers are banking on students wanting to use them for more than listening to rap.
Here are ways you can get better grades with your MP3 player.
1. Downloading audio books![]()
2. Download textbooks
3. Download study guides
4. Download language partners.
Now...
5. Go to the gym and get your reading done
6. Take a walk and listen to a lecture.
7. Go out to eat and review your notes.
8. Do the laundry and talk to your language partner?
None of these are unrealistic. In fact, I think it would be cool to do homework under such circumstances, don't you?
I have numerous study lessons on my iPod...AND I use them.
It doesn't make any difference how convenient it is to study IF the student does NOT actually do it.
How can you use your MP3 player to study?
Please share.
