A high school student in Austin, TX is facing 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine for making brownies for staff members and students at his high school.

Problem is...the 18-year old and a couple of his buddies who were "just watching" put laxative in the brownies.

Later in the day, seven staff members and five students complained of discomfort, diarrhea, stomach cramps and bloody stools....yikes!

The crime is called felony adulteration resulting in bodily harm. Can brownies do that?

The boy has admitted to putting laxatives in the brownie mix and will appear in court in March.

It's not funny, of course. But, it sure sounds like something I would have done when I was a kid.

What's a prank that you have played that has backfired on you?

I once through a snake at a group of dancing girls. Boy, did I get in a heap of trouble for that?
