Two high school girls apparently didn't get their homework done, wanted to go to the mall or just thought it would be fun to skip school AND take the whole student body with them.
Somehow the young ladies got into the school district's Web site and posted a cancellation due to winter weather (snow).
Snow, however, was not in the forecast. Parents got confused. Many kids decided to stay home until mom and dad figured out what was what.
If I were a student, I would have stayed home.
The district superintendent discoverd the posting when he logged on.
The two girls are facing expulsion and have been charged in juvenile court.
And the worst thing I ever did in school was throw a snake at the opposing teams dance squad during a half time show on their court, nearly causing a riot, and getting my self thrown out.
What shall we think of our kids these days?
