
This year, 116 ballplayers are taking part, up from 112 in 2006 and 66 in 2005. Two par question: What is the percentage of increase over the past two years? Is the program growing more or less quickly in its third year?
UPenn's Wharton School, Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of business and the Kellogg School of Management are offering such classes as real estate development and entrepreneurship.
One ballplayer, Brian Westbrook of the Philadelphia Eagles, has an undergraduate degree in management information systems.
He says "You have to have a life after football and you need something you can fall back on." He goes on, "A lot of times football can opens doors, but you want to be a person who brings something substantial to that business."
Brian gets an "A" on his first assignment. The answer was "Plan ahead."
The NFL and NFL players associations gets points for planning ahead as well.
