Northwestern responded with "What the h....?"
A, um, compromise was reached.
Muslim students will be allowed to bring their prayer rugs to basketball games and check them in at the coat check room.
At football games they will have to carry their carpets.
Additionally, they will be permitted to pray in spaces that don't interrupt traffic flow.
The Muslim students are saying, it "works for us."
I think the school is trying too hard to accomodate this group.
Are they afraid of a Muslim backlash if they ask, "what in the world are you talking about?"
I have missed numerous games, events, programs, outings because my priority was to the time I wanted to spend at church.
I have prayed at basketball games. I prayed for my son to do his best at the swim meet his is in, while I stood at the side of the pool and listened to over-excited parents.
Why do these Muslim students need to be accomodated in any way?
Northwestern blew this one and has opened a flood-gate to endless other unreasonable requests.

I am a U.S. Citizen and a Born-Again Christian, I picked up a hitchhiker out of Faith last week and he told me he was a prophet of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the creator of heaven and earth, The GOD of the BIBLE, the Father of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior. He said to me that he recieves visions and dreams from the Father and obeys Him, he speaks in tongues of the Holy Spirit and is in constant communication with Him. He also told me about something happening to Las Vegas in the future, possibly its destruction. Please note the date this message is sent. This is for all of those who do not believe in the GOD of the Bible, for you are worshipping the wrong GOD.
