Sounds like the objectives for a college course.
Yup...some Malaysian colleges are thinking to offer courses in how to keep public restrooms clean.
The course will teach students how to 'manage washrooms by the highest standards in design and sanitation technology.'
The idea is in keeping with Malaysia's "toilet revolution."
I have never been to Malaysia but I have been in countries where there were no stalls, no toilet paper, no soap, not even a toilet seat....I can imagine the nauseating picture that citizens and tourists might come upon in Malaysia.
But, a college course?
Will the schools offer hands on experience? Field trips?
Less, you think they are kidding...
Students will have to learn:
1. how to create and respond to text messages when they or someone comes upon a foul public lavatory.
2. how to set up and maintain self-cleaning toilets in 'poopular' shopping districts
3. how to file forms to revoke business licenses of restaurants that don't maintain proper standards.
I reckon I know some kids who would have trouble passing this gas, er, class.
What do you think of Malaysia's plan?
