The Society for Ethnomusicology
* calls for full disclosure of U.S. government-sanctioned and funded programs that design the means of delivering music as torture;
* condemns the use of music as an instrument of torture; and
* demands that the United States government and its agencies cease using music as an instrument of physical and psychological torture.

Gee...I definitely want to take a copy to the gym with me today and tell them enough with the rap music while I am trying to lift - it's torture.
If we keep at it...maybe all the world will be silent and then surely someone will issue a position about that. After all, "silence is deadly," too.
Music....it's all relative.
Still, I wish they would change the channel from time to time at the gym.
What do you think?
